Ashtead WI was founded by Stella Bell in October 1973 and has continued to flourish ever since.

Apart from monthly meetings, which are well attended, there are a variety of activities for members to enjoy.  Today they range from walking and gardening to theatre, scrabble and more.  Trips to places of interest are regularly enjoyed. 

 

During 2018 the Surrey Federation of WIs celebrated its Centenary.  An evening function was held at RHS Wisley to mark the occasion.
