We wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year. Our 1st meeting of 2025 is on Wednesday 8th January in the Ashtead Peace Memorial Hall at 7.30pm. Lucy Quinnell is our first speaker of the New Year and her talk is on 'Rowhurst' a House built on Stories

A few members of the walking group made the most of a glorious September day to walk along the River Thames at Walton before stopping for a light lunch. .

We were part of the Ashtead Peace Memorial Hall's 100th Anniversary Celebrations
50 Great Years in Ashtead. October 2023 saw us celebrate our half century. One of our members was present at the very first meeting with her babe in arms!
In August a number of our members enjoyed a visit to Parham House and Gardens
Saturday 10th June saw another successful Ashtead Village Day held on a very hot day.
Surrey Federation's Annual Council Meeting on March 20th saw Ann Jones, Chair of the National Federation present one of our joint Presidents with a certificate in recognition of our upcoming 50th Birthday.

Members of our Gardening Group enjoyed an afternoon at The Grange with a delicious cream tea.
A few of our members braved the elements for a winter walk. Apparently there is a river lurking somewhere behind them and lost in the mist.
A number of our members enjoyed a back stage tour behind the scenes of Strictly Come Dancing, looking at the costumes worn by the dancers. One of our number bravely modelled one of the dresses.
A select group of members just past the village in Windsor Great Park, mid way through our circular walk. Our first return there since the outbreak of covid.
Our August outing on a very hot day to Saville Gardens followed in the afternoon by a Riverboat trip up through Old Windsor and a lock or two during which a cream tea was served.
Our Denman Day was attended by many of our members who were instructed and partook in designing mosaics.
Some members of the Gardening Group visited Lady Peteranne Hunt's Garden, Esher and rounded it off with afternoon tea and cake.
